After first term finals, Sue finds herself at the top of her medical school class. Everyone, including Sue herself, is surprised with the results because Sue never scored so high on the finals. She is happy that she scored the top of her class, but she is worried that her friends will think of her as a rival more than a friend. Her parents would definitely be proud of her, but will pressure her to do well on the next finals as well. Sue will suffer from peer pressure, and eventually breakdown. She will have no one to rely on, and push herself to keep on studying. Sue will slowly feel isolated and since she is considerably emotional because she is a female, this will drop her grades as well. She can even potentially fall in to depression. Her medical school life will be completely based on grades, and she will not find it interesting anymore. Having high final scores is likely to lead into depression.
